So today is the Community Shield where the winners of the English FA Cup play the winners of the English Premiere League – the official start of the season (YES). This pits my team Chelsea FC against league champs Manchester City. Chelsea looked rocky in preseason; in those matches, as with today’s, we were without a full squad (Oscar is still due back from Olympic duty among others).
